ORBIT is looking for you – an experienced Program manager to lead multidisciplinary programs/projects with experience in Defense and Aerospace products

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility of all Contractual aspects
  • Managing several projects in parallel – different requirements, use cases and customers
  • Managing the Customer throughout the Program (communication & interface)
  • Managing multidisciplinary program team in a matrix environment
  • Owning and Managing the Program budget, revenue and cash flow
  • Managing the Program schedule, sync with operations, planning, purchasing and R&D
  • Proven expert in On-Time delivery
  • Managing risks and creating mitigation plans
  • Participation in Pre and Post-Sale activities. Understanding customer requirements and needs
  • Regular and timely reporting of program progress to upper management

Requirements:

  • Fluent English – speaking, writing, reading – Must
  • Dual citizenship US/Israel – Advantage

Education:

  • BSc/MSc in Physics or Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical/System Engineering
  • PMP, Program Management Professional 

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 8 years of proven experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary defense/Aerospace programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • At least 8 years’ experience in customer relations outside of Israel – program management, pre sales
  • Capable to formulate program management documentation, both internal and external (Presentations, DR’s, Risk Management, Vendor SOW, etc.)
  • Advantage – Proven experience in system engineering
  • Advantage – background as PM at large companies such as Rafael, Elbit, IAI
  • Advantage – Experience in Airborne and Mil-STD systems
