Mechanical / Electro – Mechanical Buyer

Department: Purchasing

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing
  • Vendor management
  • Locating new vendors
  • Cost reduction
  • Negotiating and managing of contracts with strategic Israeli & Global subcontractors.
  • Ensure vendors performance
  • Daily tasks (Follow up, reports, etc ).


  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Ability to adapt to a stressed & changing environment
  • Mechanical / Electro – mechanical background, preferable with practical experience (Advantage)
  • Relevant education
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes in assembly house
  • Previous experience in manufacturing companies

Experience and skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Experienced with ERP systems ( Priority is an advantage)
  • English – Fluent speaking, reading and writing
  • High level Execl skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good logistics skills
