Lior Rudminsky

VP of Products and Solutions

In the seven years prior to his appointment as VP of Products and Solutions of Orbit, Lior Rudminsky held various positions in the company’s core business lines - Airborne Systems (Airborne SATCOM & Airborne Audio Management Systems), Maritime & Ground Stations, and Telemetry & Tracking - including leadership roles such as Director, Head of Solutions Engineering. Prior to joining Orbit, Lior served as a Network Technician in the Israeli Air Force. He holds a B.Sc in Electronic Engineering from the Holon Institute of Technology.

Lior Rudminsky

VP of Products and Solutions

In the seven years prior to his appointment as VP of Products and Solutions of Orbit, Lior Rudminsky held various positions in the company’s core business lines - Airborne Systems (Airborne SATCOM & Airborne Audio Management Systems), Maritime & Ground Stations, and Telemetry & Tracking - including leadership roles such as Director, Head of Solutions Engineering. Samuel Snir

VP of Global Sales & BD

Having joined Orbit in 1986, Sam Snir is currently Orbit’s VP of Global Sales & BD. He brings to the role over three decades of international experience in various customer-facing positions, and a strong technical background in antenna tracking systems, airborne SATCOM solutions, earth observation, and telemetry systems for both military and commercial markets. Sam holds a Computer Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Having joined Orbit in 1986, Sam Snir is currently Orbit’s VP of Global Sales & BD. He brings to the role over three decades of international experience in various customer-facing positions, and a strong technical background in antenna tracking systems, airborne SATCOM solutions, earth observation, and telemetry systems for both military and commercial markets. Sam holds a Computer Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Asaf Punis

VP of Marketing & BD

Asaf was appointed VP of Marketing & BD following ten years at Orbit, during which he gained experience in as R&D system engineer, multidisciplinary team leadership, project management, sales, and business development of mission-critical communication systems in the aerospace industry. Prior to joining Orbit, Asaf served as a Naval Officer in the Israeli Navy on a SA’AR 5-class corvette. He holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, an M.Eng. in Systems engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA (Cum Laude) in Technology Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Tel Aviv University – Coller School of Management.

Asaf Punis

VP of Marketing & BD

Asaf was appointed VP of Marketing & BD following ten years at Orbit, during which he gained experience in as R&D system engineer, multidisciplinary team leadership, project management, sales, and business development of mission-critical communication systems in the aerospace industry. Prior to joining Orbit, Asaf served as a Naval Officer in the Israeli Navy on a SA’AR 5-class corvette. He holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, an M.Eng. in Systems engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA (Cum Laude) in Technology Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Tel Aviv University – Coller School of Management.

Before becoming Orbit’s Chairman of the Board, Itzchak Gat served as Chairman of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Prior to that, he served as CEO/GM at Rafael, Elisra and Poalim Electronic Communications and as VP at the Etgar (Challenge) Fund. A retired Brigadier General, Itzchak served 27 years as a fighter pilot and a commander in the Israeli Air Force, where he also headed the Operational Requirements Department, and the Logistics and Engineering Directorate, respectively. He holds a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering from Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology.

Micha Barda

Micha Barda joined Orbit in 2019. Prior to that he served as a head of the Marine Communication Systems Unit
in the Israeli navy C4I Division. He managed R&D for marine communication systems, including managing a branch of 25 engineers, large scale project management and advanced technologies. Micha has extensive experience in program management, system engineering, integration, deployment and maintaining of complex systems and multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on program management AMS, T&T and Satellite Systems. Micha is a graduate of BSc Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Ruppin Academic Center.

Liat Horovitz

Director of HR

Liat joined Orbit in June 2020 as HR
Director. Liat has more than 15 years
of experience in HR roles in global Hi-Tech companies, leading cross-organizational HR processes
including: hiring, talent management, training, coaching and consulting, comp & benefits. Prior to joining Orbit, Liat was HRBP at Strauss Water, ECI Telecom and F5 Networks. Liat has an MA in Public Administration from Bar Ilan University.

Liat joined Orbit in June 2020 as HR Director. Liat has more than 15 years of experience inHR roles in
global Hi-Tech companies, leading cross-organizational HR processes including: hiring, talent
management, training, coaching and consulting, comp & benefits. Prior to joining Orbit, Liat was
HRBP at Strauss Water, ECI Telecom and F5 Networks. Liat has an MA in Public Administration from
Bar Ilan University.

Avi Shukrun joined Orbit in September 2019, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in
multidisciplinary technology development and life cycle management in the Aerospace, Commercial
Avionics and the Space markets. Prior to joining Orbit, he held several key management positions at
Elbit Systems, including Director of Space Systems and Director of Display and Electro-Optics.
Avi holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University, Israel and an MBA from the
Polytechnic Institute of New York University.

Dany Eshchar has extensive
experience leading defense,
high-tech and international business
development organizations. Before
joining Orbit as CEO, Dany served as
Deputy CEO for the Israel- and
US-based Aeronautics Group, where
he led Sales, Marketing and Business
Development efforts and managed
substantial international business
growth. Prior to Aeronautics, Dany
headed R&D projects for the Israel
Navy. He holdsa Bachelors in
Engineering from Israel’s Technion
Institute of Technology and Master’s
degrees from both Technion and the
Universityof Michigan.

Dany Eshchar

President and CEO

Dany Eshchar has extensive experience leading defense, high-tech and international business
development organizations. Before joining Orbit as CEO, Dany served as Deputy CEO for the Israel- and
US-based Aeronautics Group, where he led Sales, Marketing and Business Development efforts and
managed substantial international business growth. Prior to Aeronautics, Dany headed R&D projects
for the Israel Navy. He holds a Bachelors in Engineering from Israel’s Technion Institute of Technology
and Master’s degrees from both Technion and the University of Michigan.

Chief Financial Officer

Roi Wirth joined Orbit in January
2018 as Financial Manager and was
appointed CFO of Orbit in January
2021. Roi brings with him over 13
years of extensive experience in a
variety of managerial, financial, tax
and accounting-related positions.
Prior to joining Orbit, he served as a
Senior Manager in the High-Tech
Division at Ernst & Young working
with private and publicly traded
companies on the Tel Aviv and New
York Stock Exchanges. Roi is a
licensed CPA and holds a BA in
Accounting and Economics from
Haifa University.

Chief Financial Officer

Roi Wirth joined Orbit in January 2018 as Financial Manager and was appointed CFO of Orbit in
January 2021. Roi brings with him over 13 years of extensive experience in a variety of managerial,
financial, tax and accounting-related positions. Prior to joining Orbit, he served as a Senior Manager
in the High-Tech Division at Ernst & Young working with private and publicly traded companies on
the Tel Aviv and New York Stock Exchanges. Roi is a licensed CPA and holds a BA in Accounting and
Economics from Haifa University.

Bentzi Raziel was appointed Senior VP Operations and Global Service of Orbit in 2014. Prior to that, Bentzi who have been with Orbit for over20 years, and has held senior management positions delivering a wealth of technical and operational experience in managing complex engineering environments and leading cross-functional teams worldwide, spearheading Orbit’s global service organization. He has a proven track record in designing and implementing business operations aimed toward the creation and improvement of global supply chains. Bentzi has been responsible for the leading and execution of operational excellence practices through establishing policies that promote company culture and vision.
Bentzi holds a Practical Engineering degree as well as a BA in Business Management from Rupin College as well as MBA from Netanya College in Israel
