Description:
This position is part of the Products and Solutions organization with strong footprint in the R&D.
Focus in this role is to manage demonstration systems of the different business lines and responsible for their preparation, integration, testing and demonstration during the different company events.
Setting expectations with the prospect and understanding customer demanding needs are key factor in the success of the role during prospect meetings and demonstrations.
This is a key position to the success of the different business lines in the company and it requires passion to resolve complex challenges based on creativity, fast learning skills, understanding of integration, verification and success criteria coupled with hands on capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Proof of Concept (POC) – Demo Technician is responsible to set expectations with the prospect in respect to the scope, setup, roles and responsibilities and success criteria of the demonstration. Key factor is a successful demonstration to company prospects
- Exhibitions – Demo Technician is responsible for managing company demo systems and preparing demonstration system toward pre-defined exhibitions, including the relevant tools, testing and applicable accessories
- Manage, configure and operate company demonstration kits, tools and accessories in their most updated configuration with their respective peripheral and testing equipment
- Lead and manage company systems integration with 3rd party equipment for the purpose of concept approval and successful demonstrations
- Generate and maintain demonstration documentation for successful demo acceptance protocols and demonstration reports
- Work closely with R&D technical experts, subcontractors/potential third-party solution partners, product manager, sales directors, finance and executive teams and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate demonstrations with prospects upon approved business case
Requirements:
- Practical Electronic engineer
- At least 2 year of proven experience in satellite communication – must
- Willingness to travel for exhibitions and demos, excellent time management, verbal and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented team player, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English. Additional languages, an advantage.
