Mechanical buyer

Department: Purchasing

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Purchasing
  • Vendor & Subcontractor management
  • Locating new vendors
  • Cost reduction
  • Ensure vendors performance
  • Daily tasks (Follow up, reports, etc)

Requirements:

  • Reading & understanding Mechanical drawing (Must)
  • Mechanical  background, preferable with practical experience (Advantage)
  • Previous experience in companies projects oriented / high mix low volume
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization

Personal Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good problem solving ability and decision making skills
  • Experienced with ERP systems (Priority is an advantage)
  • English – Fluent speaking, reading and writing
  • Good level Execl skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good logistics skills
