Orbit Communication Systems is a global leader in innovative satellite communications, tracking, and airborne communications solutions. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team.
The role involves managing and tracking procurement orders from both local and international suppliers — from initial approval through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of procurement orders, including order confirmation, delivery tracking, and exception handling
- Close coordination with suppliers in Israel and abroad to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components
- Maintaining accurate and reliable procurement data in the ERP system (Priority)
- Monitoring and updating delivery schedules; prioritizing urgent items as needed
- Conducting regular supplier evaluations and occasional site visits
- Supporting resolution of procurement issues and proactively reporting delays or deviations
- Collaborating closely with planners and internal teams to align supply with operational needs
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong service-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Experience working with Priority ERP – an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and assertiveness
- Previous experience in a similar procurement/supply chain role – required
- Valid driver’s license – required
