About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our growing Earth Observation, Tracking, Telemetry & Command (TT&C), New Space and Special Projects business line, working closely with our Sales and Engineering teams.
In this role, you will act as a technical subject matter expert (SME), leading customer engagements, defining system architecture, preparing proposals, and delivering technical presentations.
You will leverage your systems engineering and integration engineering expertise to design and tailor solutions that meet mission-critical customer requirements in the aerospace and special projects sectors.
This is a key technical-commercial position, directly influencing the company’s ability to win new business and expand into emerging markets.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical authority for multidisciplinary systems involving mechanics, electronics, software, and RF communication
- Lead technical engagements with prospects and customers: requirements gathering, solution design, system architecture, block diagram development, and technical risk assessment
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals:
- Analyze customer specifications, SOWs, and RFPs
- Develop competitive solution concepts, costing, and technical documentation
- Perform technical risk analysis and competition analysis
- Work with the Sales team by conducting technical presentations and demonstrations that articulate the features and advantages of company solutions
- Collaborate with subcontractors, third-party partners, and internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, operations, executive team) to develop winning solutions
- Maintain deep knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, new technologies, and evolving industry trends
- Support continuous improvement of proposal generation processes, tools, templates, and best practices
- Perform Link Budget Analysis and basic RF performance assessments as part of solution definition
- Mentor and support internal sales associates to enhance their technical understanding and customer engagement capabilities
- Participate in product strategy discussions by providing technical market feedback to influence future developments
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant technical field
- At least 3 years of experience working in a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering role supporting business development
- Proven experience supporting technical solution design, proposal development, or technical sales for ground station systems, TT&C, or aerospace communication systems
- Strong background in RF system fundamentals, antenna systems, mechanical structures, and electronics
- Experience preparing system architecture, block diagrams, and technical solution documents
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and high technical writing skills in English and Hebrew
- Strategic thinker with ability to analyze requirements and develop discriminating solutions
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for customer meetings, demonstrations, and events
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience preparing and leading large proposal efforts in aerospace, defense, or satellite ground systems
- At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer and/or Integration Engineer in complex multidisciplinary systems (involving RF, electronics, mechanics, and software)
- Prior hands-on experience with system testing (FAT, SAT, ATP)Familiarity with ground station link budgets, tracking modes (auto-track, monopulse, etc.), satellite communication and tracking systems
- Exposure to Earth Observation, Remote Sensing, or New Space applications
